Hi all,
Imagine Cup is a universal competition organized by Microsoft every year. To know more about it, visit:

The issue is: Arabia countries that participate in this competition are: Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Tunisia, Morocco, Algeria, and Lebanon


Now, please anybody answer this



While there are a lot of people inters in technology in Syria, why Syria is not one of the 90 countries that participate in that competition

Is there a branch for Microsoft in Damascus, or not

Actually, you amazed me. Are you sure about this reason? Remember, Microsoft is private sector - keta3 7'as!

For all IT professionals and business men/women in Syria,
Can not we fix this??
Can we do something to keep the technology away from the political issues?

I got what you are trying to say BUT we should never lose hope
We have to believe that technology is not related to the policies, and I think it is not impossible. Business men may be able to resolve it. I hope a someone with powers will read this and think to gain money from it ;)

I hope so but as I mentioned, the problem in the other side, not our so we can't do anything about it
